Southern Cape and Free State may be the guaranteed victors at this year’s South African U-19 Inter-Provincial, but Central Gauteng and Mpumalanga are not giving an inch in the final round at Worcester Golf Club.

Marco Steyn and David Meyers defeated Southern Cape’s Caylum Boon and Martin Vorster 2 & 1, while Dylan Naidoo and Guy Waterhouse combined for another victory to tie the Foursomes at 2-all.

Mpumalanga won three games and halved the fourth to start the Singles with 3.5 points.

However, Free State responded by beating Limpopo with the same margin and looks set on pulling off their promotion with an unbeaten week in Worcester.
